If you’ve ever wondered whether you can change the map pin icons; the answer is absolutely. Please keep in mind that this is not supported. So, if it doesn’t work the way you expected you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise. Here is how it’s done:

    1. Login to the IDX Control Panel.
    2. Go to Designs -> Sub-headers -> Pages -> Map Search
    3. Click the button to turn off the WYSIWYG
    4. Past the following code into the text box

    When you save the changes the icons will be changed on your Map Search Page.

    If you’d like to have this affect map search widgets you’ll need to make the edit in WordPress. You would do this under . . .

    Appearance -> Editor

    Select Equity as the Theme to edit and then edit the Theme header with the code above. Be sure to close the PHP “?>” before the code you enter and then re-open it after “<?”.

    Thank you for your contribution.

    Select Equity as the Theme to edit and then edit the Theme header with the code above. Be sure to close the PHP “?>” before the code you enter and then re-open it after “< ?”.

    You should never, ever edit the framework files directly. If you want to add custom scripts to your site header or footer, you can add them in the Equity > Theme Settings in the Header/Footer Scripts section.
